<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recommendation service system, a method, and a program which provide information on optimum commodity/service on the basis of an answer for question data. <P>SOLUTION: A server 8 transmits a question to a client computer 1, which receives the question from the server, inputs an answer for the question, and transmits the answer to the server 8. The server 8 receives the answer from the client computer 1, narrows down commodities/services on the basis of the received answer, selects an appropriate commodity/service, and presents the commodity/service to the client computer 1.
