<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the exhaust emission control device of an internal combustion engine which can keep an exhaust gas clean-up means in a proper temperature range when the exhaust gas clean-up means is heated, and which can maintain the high clean-up performance. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust emission control device comprises the exhaust gas clean-up means 9 which cleans up the exhaust gas of the internal combustion engine 1; a tank 17 which is connected to an exhaust gas passage 4 of the internal combustion engine so as to store the exhaust gas collected from the exhaust gas passage, and to supply the stored exhaust gas to the exhaust gas clean-up means; a supply amount adjustment means 21 which adjusts the amount of the exhaust gas to be supplied to the exhaust gas clean-up means from the tank; a temperature acquisition means 10 which acquires the temperature of the exhaust gas clean-up means; and an exhaust gas supply control means 16 which controls the supply amount adjustment means, based on the temperature acquired by the temperature acquisition means so that the exhaust gas clean-up means may be kept in the proper temperature range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
