PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk playback device capable of preventing errors during seek. SOLUTION: The disk playback device for reproducing digital audio signals recorded on a DVD or a CD is provided with a PLL part 6 for outputting synchronous signals synchronized with the digital audio signals. When the CD is played back at a double speed or higher, the PLL part 6 increases a gain during track seek and returns the gain to the original value after the lapse of predetermined time after the end of the seek.
