PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To anticipate an opening ratio of a liquid crystal display device with high accuracy by considering an error in a manufacturing process. SOLUTION: A device for computing the opening ratio of the liquid crystal display device based on layout information is provided with a storing part to store the layout information in advance, an extracting part to extract the layout information from the storing part, a manufacturing error anticipating part to anticipate a layout error produced in the manufacturing process of the liquid crystal display device based on the layout information and an opening ratio computing part to compute the opening ratio of the manufactured liquid crystal display device based on the anticipated error.
