PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means to improve the efficiency of dewatering work for bank sand, sludge or the like, and efficiently utilizing a land whereon bank sand and sludge are deposited during the dewatering work. SOLUTION: In a dewatering method of slurry, a storage space for the slurry containing bank sand, sludge or the like is formed by assembling blocks. The space from an introduction part of the muddy water to an exhaust port of water in the slurry is partitioned into a plurality of spaces. A boundary part of the partition spaces is a face having a plurality of slit-like openings. The slurry is passed through the partition parts, and the solid content of the slurry is held in a reservoir section. In this method, the slurry is passed through the face having the plurality of slit-like openings, thereby preventing the opening to be blocked, and improving the separation efficiency for separating the slurry into water and solid contents. Because the blocks are assembled, if the upper part is covered with a sheet and filled with soil, the land on the blocks can be used as a parking lot or a park. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
