There is provided a magnetic resonance imaging device capable of performing high speed image pickup and obtaining high image quality by using an inclined magnetic field power source (1) of a comparatively simple structure. The inclined magnetic field power source (1) includes DC/AC conversion means (4, 20), voltage division means (5), and a current amplifier (8). The DC/AC conversion means (4, 20) convert AC voltage supplied from a commercial AC power source (2) to a first multi-level DC voltage. The voltage division means (5) divides the first multi-level DC voltage supplied from the DC/AC conversion means (4, 20) to a second multi-level DC voltage. The current amplifier (8) outputs current controlled by using the second multi-level DC voltage divided by the voltage division means (5) and a control signal input by control means (33).
