CROSS-LINKED POLYIMINE AND USE THEREOF FOR THE IMMOBILIZATION OF ACIDIC OR ELECTROPHILIC COMPOUNDS PRESENT IN A SOLUTION

The invention relates to a method for the immobilization of acidic or electrophilic compounds in a solution. The method is characterized in that it consists in bringing a cross-linked polyimine into contact with said compounds, said polyimine being insoluble in the medium wherein the imino groups are -NH- groups. The modified polyimine thus obtained is then separated by means of filtration. The cross-linked polyimine comprises linear segments made up of -HN-R<1>-NH-R<2>-Ar-R<3>- units wherein R<1>, R<2> and R<3> are alkylene ou alkenylene groups which are identical or different, and Ar represents an aromatic group. The method is used to fix undesired compounds or to purify acidic compounds.
