METHOD AND A SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING A REMOTE UNIT BY USING AN SIP-EXTENDED SIP MESSAGE, AN SIP USER TERMINAL AND AN SIP DEVICE, PARTICULARLY CONCERNED WITH CONTROLLING A REMOTE UNIT BY USING A COMMAND NEGOTIATION PROTOCOL INCLUDING A PROCESS FOR NEGOTIATING A USABLE COMMAND LANGUAGE

PURPOSE: A method and system for controlling a remote unit by using an SIP(Session Initiation Protocol)-extended SIP message, an SIP user terminal and an SIP device are provided to allow a user terminal to control a remote unit even without knowledge about a type or content of a control command of the remote unit. CONSTITUTION: A CNP(Command Negotiation Protocol) message processor(401) converts information to be transmitted to an SIP device into a CNP message, or extracts information from a CNP message received from the SIP device. A display unit(402) displays the extracted information for user's easy understanding. A message transmitting/receiving unit(404) transmits a CNP message to the SIP device or receives a CNP message from the SIP device via an SIP stack(405). A controller(403) transmits the CNP message which has been received through the message transmitting/receiving unit(404) to the CNP message processor(401), receives an extracted command language set or data, and transfers it to the display unit(402). The controller sends a control command language selected by a user to the CNP message processor(401) and transfers the converted CNP message to the message transmitting/receiving unit(404). The SIP device receives the CNP message including the control command language and executes the command language to perform remote controlling.
