PURPOSE: A multifunction phone interworking with a mobile terminal is provided to perform handsfree call communication using a mobile terminal and PSTN call communication using PSTN through one phone set. CONSTITUTION: A DM plug(110) forms a switching path of a DM command language, PCM data and charging power with a mobile terminal. A DM PCM I/F unit(205) interfaces the PCM data so as to be transmitted/received. A PCM codec unit(210) analog-converts the PCM data or converts an analog voice signal introduced from outside into PCM data. A mobile terminal voice amplifier(215) amplifies the analog voice signal applied from the PCM codec unit(210). A DM data I/F unit(220) interfaces specific data so as to be converted into a control command language suitable for a DM port. A power I/F unit(230) interfaces AC power applied from an AC 220/110 adapter so as to be converted into stable DC power. A charging circuit unit(235) converts power applied from the power I/F unit(230) into power for charging the mobile terminal. A DM power I/F unit(240) interfaces the power for charging the mobile terminal applied from the charging circuit unit(235) so as to be suitable for the DM port of the mobile terminal. A button I/F unit(245) interfaces a key signal applied from a function button. An MCU(250) determines a handsfree mode or a PSTN mode according to an internal algorithm and selection of a specific button. A voice switch unit(275) switches a corresponding path to perform handsfree call communication or a PSTN call communication.
