PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen purification apparatus that reduces a CO concentration effectively by selectively oxidizing CO among relatively high concentration of CO under low O2/CO conditions at 200-350°C in a CO removing apparatus from the reformed gas containing hydrogen as a main ingredient and CO.

SOLUTION: The carbon monoxide selective oxidation catalyst is comprised of an oxide carrier and platinum and rhodium or an alloy of platinum-rhodium supported thereon.
