<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IQ mixer which is operated with a 180° phase shift in a communication transmitter and a receiver. <P>SOLUTION: In both the transmitter and the receiver, input signals are coupled to their IQ mixers and output signals of the mixers are composed to eliminate unwanted error components in individual output signals. In the transmitter, the residual carrier signal is eliminated and in the receiver, DC offset is eliminated. In both, desired signals are added, an amplitude of a resultant synthetic output signal becomes double, thereby increasing output power four times and improving a dynamic range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
