<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device, method and program for estimating a health index capable of reducing an error resulting from the data which becomes the base of an estimating equation. <P>SOLUTION: A storage means stores a health index estimating equation in which the health index is expressed as a function of a human body composition data. A calculating means calculates the health index as an estimated value using the human body composition data inputted from an input means and the health index estimating equation stored in the storage means (S2-S8). When the health index is inputted from the input means together with the human body composition data, the health index estimating equation stored in the storage means is corrected using the inputted health index and the human body composition data (S11 and 12), and the corrected health index estimating equation is stored in the storage means (S13). Afterward, when the human body composition data is inputted from the input means, the calculation of the health index is executed using the corrected health index estimating equation (S2-S8). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
