<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a space diversity effect that corresponds to the number of antennas of a base station not only in incoming communication but also in outgoing communication without increasing signal throughput nor the power consumption of a terminal in radio communication between the base station having a plurality of antennas and the terminal having the number of antennas which is smaller than that of the plurality of antennas of the base station. <P>SOLUTION: A radio wave used for outgoing communication is transmitted from an antenna with the largest S/N ratio of radio waves received immediately before incoming communication performed between the same terminals. Further, in a radio communication method using a so-called frequency hopping system that periodically changes a frequency of a carrier, the frequency of the carrier used in outgoing communication is made to be similar to the frequency of a carrier used immediately before the incoming communication performed between the same terminals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
