<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control with high accuracy generated negative pressure in a collector and also suppress the clattering of a valve element under a condition that an intake air amount during low/middle load operation is comparatively small without causing an increase in intake air resistance under a condition that the intake air amount during high load operation is large. <P>SOLUTION: A first passage 30 having a large passage sectional area and a second passage 31 having a small passage sectional area are arranged in parallel to each other on the intake inlet side of the collector 13. A selector valve 32 for selecting opening/closing of the passage 30 is arranged in the first passage 30, and a throttle regulating valve 33 for continuously increasing/decreasing the opening area of the passage 31 is arranged in the second passage 31. When the intake air amount of a cylinder 1 during the high load operation is large, the first passage 30 is opened by the selector valve 32, and when the intake air amount of the cylinder 1 during the low/middle load operation is comparatively small, the first passage 30 is closed by the selector valve 32, and also the opening area of the second passage 31 is variably controlled by the throttle regulating valve 33 so as to maintain the inner pressure of the collector 13 to approximately a set pressure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
