PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic shock absorber capable of being applied to a vehicular suspension. SOLUTION: In a middle part of a bypass passage B1 communicating a first chamber R1 and a second chamber R2 divided by a partitioning member 1, a valve V1 capable of opening/closing the bypass passage B1 and energized in a closing direction, and pressing means 18, 19 pressing the valve V1 in a direction opening the bypass passage B1 when vibrations has a not more than resonance frequency under a spring and frequency close thereto, are provided.
