PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire alarm improved for detecting the occurrence of a fire or the abnormal increase of CO density or smoke density in an early stage, and for minimizing any erroneous report as much as possible assuming that this fire alarm is set in a general housing. SOLUTION: The fire alarm 1 is provided with an alarm part 7 for generating an alarm, a sensor 2 for detecting a temperature, a sensor 3 or 4 for detecting either CO or smoke, a deciding part 63 for comparing a detection value obtained by the sensor 3 or 4 with a set threshold, and for controlling an alarm part to generate an alarm when the predetermined comparison result continues in a set duration time and a decision condition setting part 62 for changing the setting of either the threshold or the duration time based on a detection value detected by the sensor 2.
