PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-in-water-emulsified skin care preparation stably containing a fatty acid L-ascorbyl ester. SOLUTION: The oil-in-water-emulsified skin care preparation containing a fatty acid L-ascorbyl ester is such as to be incorporated with one or more components selected from glyceryl monoalkyl ether, fatty acid glyceryl ester and polyoxyethylene fatty acid glyceryl ester and adjusted to pH2.0-5.0. Thereby, the stability of the fatty acid L-ascorbyl ester is improved. In this skin care preparation, when a water-soluble polymer is to be added for thickening it, improving its emulsion stability, etc., the polymer is preferably a nonionic one.
