PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper magazine constituted to facilitate operation for loading roll type photosensitive material into the paper magazine in a darkroom. SOLUTION: The paper magazine formed as an almost rectangular parallelepiped has a case 2 consisting of a 1st case 2a and a 2nd case 2b and turning around the center of a horizontal axis and opened/closed to be divided into two, and houses the roll type photosensitive material inside the case by locking a support roll to the side surface part of the case 2, the support roll being inserted in the core part of the long-length photosensitive material wound round in a roll state. A phosphorescent tape 6 is attached at least to three corner parts except a corner part where the center of the horizontal axis is positioned on the side surface part, the almost central part of the support roll, the side surface part locking spot 10 of the case 2 for locking the support roll, and the outside surface part of a width regulating guide 7 provided in the 2nd case 2b.
