PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow crankshaft capable of improving rise of oil pressure at the time of engine start and realizing suitable rise of oil pressure in a crankshaft made of a casting. SOLUTION: A hollow portion 11 being combined with a hydraulic passage is formed inside the hollow crankshaft 10, and an oil retaining and filling-up material 12 is inserted into the hollow portion 11 in the hollow crankshaft 10.
