PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flow control valve, restraining the generation of noise caused by a fluid such as refrigerant passing a valve port to the utmost, and further reducing the noise level. SOLUTION: The inner peripheral surface of an enlarged diameter part 57 of the valve port 13 and the inner peripheral surface of a straight part 55 are connected to each other without a tangential or substantially tangential step, that is, substantially put in the tangential connection.
