PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game system wherein there is no fear that abnormality occurs in a remainder due to static electricity or an artificial electrical fault in a game apparatus or that a price for renting game medium is not subtracted normally due to a illegal behavior to the control part of the game apparatus. SOLUTION: When money is received and identified by a ball lending unit 20 (S11), a valuable value information containing frequency information and a unit ID are transmitted to a management apparatus 40 (S12) and residual frequencies are stored while being made correspond to the unit ID by the management apparatus (S13). When ball renting operation is received by the ball renting unit next (S21), a request for a renting processing permission including the unit ID is transmitted to the management device (S22), and the management device judges whether the residual frequencies are stored while being made to correspond to the unit ID (S23). When the above residual frequencies are stored, renting processing permission information is transmitted to the ball lending unit (S24) and the ball lending unit performs ball renting processing (S26).
