<p>The device has a drive shaft (2) and a take-off shaft (3), and a traction rope (4). This is fastened to the coupling member (5) of a transmission connection (6) between rope and drive shaft. The drive shaft projects through the coupling member and together with it forms a leading screw (7). Several coupling members may be mounted on the drive shaft, and each is formed by one or more nuts (8). Shaft and nuts have a right-hand and a left-hand thread. The pitch of the screw is chosen so that the traction drive is self-locking. The drive is for use in a vehicle, esp. for a steering system.</p> |
