PURPOSE: A washing machine is provided to easily put proper quantity of an electrolytic accelerator in and to excellently execute cleaning of a wash tub. CONSTITUTION: A washing machine has a wash tub storing water during washing and a drum(10) installed in the wash tub. The drum washes the laundry received in the drum by rotating around a rotating shaft set up within a range of a predetermined angle in the horizontal direction. The washing machine comprises a water supply unit for supplying water to the inside of the wash tub; an electrolyzing device producing electro-analyzed water stored in the wash tub by an electrolysis; and an accelerator-receiving part(271) formed on the peripheral surface of the drum to accelerate the production of the electrolyzed water by the electrolyzing device.
