摘要 PURPOSE: To provide a method for calculating required capacities of pump and tank in a dosing system of chemical for removing dissolved oxygen from feed water, wherein capacities of the pump and the tank required when dosing chemical for preventing corrosion and scale generated in pipes due to dissolved oxygen are easily calculated. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises a step (S101) of calculating an amount of dissolved oxygen contained in feed water supplied per a unit time; a step (S102) of calculating quantity of required chemical; a step (S103) of calculating quantity of diluted water; and a step (S104) of calculating capacity of pump, wherein the chemical is any one selected from hydrazine, phosphate and ammonia, wherein dilution ratio of the diluted water is 0.5%, and wherein the method further comprises a step of calculating capacity of the tank by multiplying the pump capacity by the minimum operation time of chemical tank.
