METHOD FOR MODELING PIPELINE SUPPORTS USING PARAMETRIC FUNCTION OF EQUIPMENT MODELER OFFERED FROM PDS PROGRAM

PURPOSE: A method for modeling pipeline supports using a parametric function of an equipment modeler offered from a PDS(Plant Design System) program is provided to automatically model the pipeline support under an PDS environment by developing an input form through standardization of the pipeline support shape and managing the dimension of each part with a database, even if a dimension of each part is unknown. CONSTITUTION: A basic input form standardized by the pipeline support shape is generated(S31). The dimensions of each part are stored in the database by each part vendor(S32). The pipeline support is modeled by inputting or selecting the information and important dimensions for the pipeline support to be modeled through the input form(S34).
