METHOD FOR SETTING MIB INCLUDING RDN GNENRATED USING NAMING RULE ON CMIP BASED NETWORK MANAGEMENT HAVING HIERARCHICAL STRUCTURE, AND OPERATING METHOD FOR THE SAME

PURPOSE: A method for setting an MIB(Management Information Base) including an RDN(Relative Distinguished Name) generated using naming rule on CMIP(Common Management Information Protocol) based network management having a hierarchical structure, and an operating method for the same are provided to facilitate implementation by encoding each RDN at an RDN field of each management object, and facilitate management by reducing the unwanted storing space and network traffic, and simplifying configuration of the MIB. CONSTITUTION: A naming rule is fixed to make management objects forming the management information tree have information for other associated management objects. The RDN corresponding to each management object is generated by using the fixed naming rule. Each generated RDN is encoded to an RDN field of each management object.
