APPARATUS FOR ELIMINATING STENCHES FOR VENTILATION DUCT COMPRISING PHOTOCATALYTIC SHEETS

PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus for eliminating stenches for a ventilation duct, which is easy to be installed, has a simple structure and a small volume, and provides a high deodorizing efficiency and a high treating efficiency for volatile organic compounds. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a casing (14), an ozone-generating lamp (16) that is installed on an interior of the casing along a longitudinal direction thereof and photocatalytic sheets (18) that are installed around the ozone-generating lamp. The casing is connected to a predetermined position of a ventilation duct (2). The oxone-generating lamp generates ozone to oxidize air discharged from the ventilation duct. Each of the photocatalytic sheet is coated with a TiO2 based photocatalyst to photooxidize the discharged air.
