<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate for a lithographic printing plate having a specified high heat-resistant porous layer which has a scratch-resistant film and is excellent in sensitivity, stain resistance and printing wear, and is also excellent in wear resistance as adhesion between the porous layer and a base is excellent, on the surface of the metal base treated with an acid or an alkali. <P>SOLUTION: The substrate for the lithographic printing plate has the porous layer in which particles of a metal oxide are bound with a compound containing a metal atom and a phosphorous atom on the surface of the metal base treated with the acid or the alkali. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
