<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bacteriostatic method for cut vegetables having no influence on the vegetables and carried out through easy process, by which a bacteriostatic effect can be maintained for a long period of time. <P>SOLUTION: The bacteriostatic method for the cut vegetables comprises soaking sterilized cut vegetables into a liquid composition prepared by incorporating only trehalose therein as a bacteriostatic agent, and spraying only the trehalose to the sterilized cut vegetables as a bacteriostatic agent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
