PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cushioning bag capable of simplifying a manufacturing process and capable of obtaining a sufficient cushioning function, a method for manufacturing the same and a manufacturing apparatus therefor. SOLUTION: This air cushioning bag manufacturing apparatus 1 is equipped with a resin melting extruder 2 for melting resin chips to discharge them, the die 3, which is mounted on the leading end of the resin melting extruder 2 and equipped closed loop-shaped molten resin discharge ports 22 intermittently arranged along a predetermined loop line for demarcating the contour of the air cushioning bag, a compressed air supply mechanism 4 for supplying air to the molten resin discharged from the die 3 to form air bubbles by the discharged molten resin and a heat-sealing mechanism 5 for hermetically sealing discharged air bubbles. Compressed air is supplied to the molten resin discharged from the respective molten resin discharge ports 22 of the die 3 to form air bubbles 41 and the adjacent air bubbles 41 are connected and heat-sealed to manufacture the air cushioning bag 40.
