PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording apparatus in which, by providing a linear marking on a sidewall of a tube, upon attachment of the tube to a pump unit, the tube is prevented from being twisted, thereby preventing the tube from being spaced away therefrom. SOLUTION: The inkjet recording apparatus is provided with a capping means for sucking-in ink from a recording head with the application of a negative pressure from a pump unit. The pump unit is provided with a pump frame having a tube supporting plane for regulating the outer shape of the tube to be a circular arc, a pump wheel which is rotated by the driving force applied from a driving means, and a roller supported by the pump wheel so as to be movable between a first position at a rotation axis side of the pump wheel and a second position away from the rotation axis. The linear marking is provided on the sidewall of the tube in the longitudinal direction such that the tube can be checked if it is attached in a twisted state or not. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
