PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide pilot hole excavating equipment and a device for measuring the inside of a pilot hole, which can shorten working time by virtue of easiness of work, and which can reduce the intrusion of debris into the pilot hole. SOLUTION: An inner body 11 has a diameter capable of being inserted into the inside of a boring rod 2. A suspension part 12, which can be hoisted by a wire line 3, is provided at the back end of the inner body 11 so as to be reciprocatively moved in the length direction of the inner body 11. A stopper 13 is openably/closably provided in the inner body 11. Constitutionally, the stopper 13 is opened so as to be engaged with an engaging part 2a when the suspension part 12 moves in a leading-end direction, and closed so as to be disengaged from the engaging part 2a when the suspension part 12 moves in a back-end direction. An excavation part 14 with a tip capable of excavating the pilot hole is provided at the leading end of the inner body 11 so as to protrude from a bit 1 at a length which enables the excavation of the pilot hole, when the stopper 13 is engaged with the engaging part 2a.
