PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide attaching structure for an optical pickup device with which distortion of the casing is prevented even if a screw is fastened tight to some extent. SOLUTION: Projection parts 21, 22, 23 which are projected to the outside and of which the bottom face is made lower than a center part bottom face of a casing are provided at a side wall lower end part of the casing of the optical pickup PU. The projection parts 21, 22, 23 are fixed to attaching face 10a of a pickup base 10 by screws 24, 25, 26, respectively. First notched grooves 21a, 22a, 23a of the cross section of a V shape extended along a direction orthogonal to the screws 24, 25, 26 are provided at the bottom faces of the projection parts 21, 22, 23. A pair of first notched grooves 21a, 22a, 23a extended along a direction in parallel to an axis line of the screws 24, 25, 26 and formed by wire-cut are are provided at the back and the front of the projection parts 21, 22, 23, respectively.
