PASSENGER PROTECTING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the constraining performance for an objective passenger by a lower limb constraining means when the objective passenger is sitting on a seat under a leg opened state. SOLUTION: A leg opening preventing device 40 which prevents the legs of the passenger 28 from being opened is arranged on a front side door 38. The leg opening preventing device 40 is constituted of a main body 42 which prevents the leg parts 28B of the passenger 28 from being placed under a crotch opened state by coming into contact with a vicinity of the knee of the right leg of the passenger 28 who sits on the seat 20, and an actuator 44 which moves the main body 42. Also, the leg opening preventing device 40 is arranged in a console box 45 as well, and the main body 42 comes into contact with a vicinity of the knee of the left leg of the passenger 28 who sits on the seat 20.
