TREATING METHOD OF BALLAST WATER, AND SHIP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treating method of ballast water for inexpensively and effectively annihilating organisms existing in a ballast tank, and a ship capable of discharging the ballast water in a loading place using the treating method. SOLUTION: In the treating method of the ballast water, a solid for raising pH of water on contacting the water is brought into contact with the ballast water.
