Device for removal of fatty tissue comprises an infiltration cannula (4) for the injection of a tumescence solution (5) into the tissue and a suction cannula (10) that is connected to the suction device (16). At least a further cannula (12) is provided for treatment of the tissue with a radiation whose wavelength is suitable for at least partial destruction of the fat cells. Independent claims are also included for the following:- (a) use of a laser for removal of fatty tissue; (b) use of an arrangement for removal of fatty tissue and; (c) a method for removal of fatty tissue.
