<p>A sheet of paper (41) on which a first reference image (31) has been formed by an image formation section (300) is placed on a predetermined position of a manuscript table (210) together with a correction jig (1) where a second reference image (33) has been formed. Images of the reference images (31, 33) are read as a correction image by an image read section (200). An error of the image read section (200) is measured from the second reference image (33) in the correction image. The error of the image read section (200) is subtracted from an error obtained by measurement by using the first reference image (31) in the correction image, thereby obtaining an error of the image formation section (300).</p>
