PURPOSE: A small-sized optical disk, a data recording device for recording data on the small-sized optical disk and a method therefor are provided to record data in a recording unit having a shorter length than one track of the innermost part of a disk, and to repeatedly record the same data, thereby improving an error correction capacity of the data even though a defect is generated from an inner area. CONSTITUTION: The first recording unit area(110) is extended up to a predetermined area from the innermost area. The second recording unit area(130) is extended up to the outermost area from the predetermined area. Data is recorded in the first recording unit area(110) in the first recording unit having a shorter length than one track of the first recording unit area(110). Data is recorded in the second recording unit area(130) in the second recording unit having a longer length than the first recording unit.
