PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for coating a fluid, and a plasma display panel are provided to form a paste layer in a very narrow pitch with high accuracy on various substrates only by setting a substrate gauge numerically without using a screen mask. CONSTITUTION: A fluid coating apparatus includes a housing(2) having a fluid inlet(5) and a fluid outlet(8), a piston(1) rotated and rectilinearly moved with respect to the housing, a piston driving device(3), a housing electrode(9), and a power supply(13). A fluid pumping room(11) is formed between the housing and the piston. The piston driving device drives the piston to increase or decrease the pressure of the fluid in the pumping room. The housing electrode is located in proximity to the fluid outlet. The power supply supplies voltage to the housing electrode to form an electric field between the housing electrode and a substrate(14).
