摘要 PURPOSE: A backlighting system for a display screen is provided to reduce electric power loss due to EMI and capacity coupling by reducing the number and length of wires. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of lamps(5) are installed. Electronic elements(2,3) receive electrical power and controls electrical power distribution to the plurality of lamps. A printed circuit board(14) has the electronic elements and includes conductive tracks. Electric connection elements(12) are provided on the printed circuit board so that the electric connection elements are connected with the conductive tracks. The electric connection elements are electrically and physically connected with the plurality of lamps to conduct the electrical power distributed to the plurality of lamps. The printed circuit board includes a first printed circuit board mounting the electronic elements, and a second printed circuit board including the electric connection elements directly connected with the plurality of lamps. The length of a link(13) between the printed circuit board and the lamps is minimized to reduce parasitic power loss.
