<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell generator which can prevent total power generation efficiency from decreasing as an operation time elapses. <P>SOLUTION: A control means 11 for controlling the operation of the fuel cell generator obtains fuel gas generating efficiency and fuel cell efficiency, to discriminate abnormalities in the fuel gas generating efficiency and the fuel cell efficiency, where the fuel gas generating efficiency is a ratio of a heat quantity of hydrogen gas as a heat quantity generated by consuming hydrogen gas which is consumed by power generating reaction in a fuel cell 6 to a total supplied heat quantity being the sum of a heat quantity of raw fuel supplied to a fuel gas generating section S having a reformer 18 and a heat quantity of burning fuel supplied to a reformer burner 18b, and the fuel cell efficiency is a ratio of DC power outputted from the fuel cell 6 to the heat quantity of the hydrogen gas. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
