<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for a motor which can perform precise control continuously even in a bit failure. <P>SOLUTION: This controller for a motor is equipped with current sensors 7-1 to 7-3 which detect the current value of each phase of a motor 6 and outputs it in an analog signal and an A/D converter 9 which converts the current value of each phase into a digital signal and controls the motor, based on the digital signal. This is equipped with a faulty bit determination means (microcomputer 13 for diagnosis) which determines the faulty bit of the digital signal and estimates the correct value of the bit determined to be faulty and a correction means (signal correction part 12) which corrects the value of the bit determined to be faulty into the estimated value. Since this determines the bit failure of the A/D converter and estimates the value of the bit determined to be faulty every hour after the specification of the faulty bit and executes current control, based on the corrected value, this can perform precise current control successively even in the bit failure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
