PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve both miniaturization and efficient use of a color image forming apparatus for forming a visible image with dry type toner onto a transfer body. SOLUTION: In the color image forming apparatus, a black image is made visible with black toner by use of the conventional electrophotographic system, and a color image is made visible with color toner by use of the system in which toner particles are caused to fly according to a voltage applied to a minute opening.
