PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noncontact type rotation angle detector of which error of an angle detection value is reduced without being influenced by hysteresis characteristics. SOLUTION: A rotation control device has a motor 130 for driving an output shaft 140 and a sensor element 165 for detecting change of a magnetic field of a magnet 150 which rotates synchronously with the output shaft 140. A controller 110 corrects output of the sensor element 165 by using a multi-degree functions in the case that the output shaft 140 rotates in a positive direction which is different from what is used in the case that it rotates in a reverse direction, and the controller controls the motor 130 so that corrected rotation angle becomes equal to a target rotation angle.
