PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exchange a metal ball of an impact hammer easily and inexpensively, concerning the impact hammer for a rebounding type portable hardness meter. SOLUTION: The metal ball 3 is sandwiched and fixed between an impact hammer body 1 and a cylindrical member 2 by screwing between a male screw part 4 formed on the tip part outer circumference of the impact hammer body 1 and a female screw part 8 formed on the inner circumference of the cylindrical member 2. A groove part is provided on the tip face of the impact hammer body 1, to thereby enable to arrange easily the metal ball 3 on the impact hammer body 1. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
