PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive coating slag drying device capable of efficiently drying coating slag of various moisture contents or various contents of a solvent component without exuding odors to the outside air. SOLUTION: The coating slag 50 is accommodated and sealed in a drying chamber 10, the drying chamber 10 is heated to heat the coating slag 50 and to generate the steam, the steam is separated into liquid and gas by a gas-liquid separator connected with the drying chamber 10, then the liquid is collected in the liquid tank 45, and the gas is discharged into the drying chamber 10 to be circulated in the gas-liquid separating device 40 again, whereby the coating slag 50 is gradually dried.
