PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noises by decreasing the number of projections closest to a counter lap part at the same timing by disposing the projections in the lap part at a non-constant interval. SOLUTION: A plurality of outer circumferential projections 14 are provided in an outer circumferential surface 3B of the lap part 3 of a fixed scroll 1, and a plurality of outer circumferential projections 15 are provided in an outer circumferential surface 12B of the lap part 12 of a rotary scroll 10. An angleθbetween adjoining projections 14 (projections 15) is gradually reduced from the outer diameter side of the lap parts 3, 12 toward the inner diameter side. When a compressor is operated, the projections 14 and 15 become closest to the counter lap parts 12 and 3 at a closure position of each compression chamber 13 for increasing seal performance of the compression chamber 13. Timing when the respective projections 14 and 15 become the closest can be deflected from each other. Generation timing of noises generated when they are closest can thus be dispersed in time.
