PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for creating a pile, which can bring about sufficient hardening strength with no unevenness, and which requires only short total working time. SOLUTION: Filling work for a mixture to be turned into a hardened body is completed only by performing: boring work up to a target depth D<SB>X</SB>and soil discharge/recovery work (a1-a7); mixing work (a8) on the ground, which is to be performed by means of an automatic mixing device 9 in such a manner as to be independent of or overlap the soil discharge/recovery work, and refilling work (a9-a11) for the mixture after the completion of mixing; and soil compaction in the state of maintaining set back pressure P<SB>1</SB>, and operations (a12-a17) for pulling up a boring screw 2. A vertical motion of the boring screw 2 is reduced, and mixing processes are performed in a lump, so that required time from the start of boring to the completion of the filling of the mixture can be reduced.
