CHLORINATED POROUS MATERIAL AND ITS USE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chlorinated porous material which has moderate adsorption ability to persistent organic pollutants and is excellent in desorption ability and further to provide a compound separation tool using this, a concentrating method and a separating method of the persistent organic pollutants. SOLUTION: The chlorinated porous material formed by chlorinating a porous material such as a copolymer of monomers including crosslinkable polyvinyl monomer by chlorine molecules is found to be excellent in desorption ability of the persistent organic pollutants.
