PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for muddy water separation which can separate mud from water in a short time. SOLUTION: After adding a coagulant and a separating agent added to the muddy water 1, the mixture is agitated to solidify mud C in the muddy water 1. Subsequently the muddy water 1 is passed through a drain part 3 that allows water W, but not the solidified mud C, to pass, thereby separating the mud C and the water W. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
